I am horrible at updating this thing, I am sure I have lost a few of you due to lack of communication.....life has just gotten away from us! I am currently in my 6 month of pregnancy and doing great (btw we are expecting a little GIRL in February...Riley Elizabeth). I am tired most days, but that is expected chasing after our 1 year old.....wow, we have a 1 year old.....that just sounds so unreal everytime its said! It seems like last year around this time Kevin and I were frantically learning to be new parents to this tiny little peanut and now he is 25lbs with a pretty extensive toddler vocabulary. People have continued to tell me time and time again "to cherish these moments because they don't last" and it seems to be coming more real of a statement with each passing day. Hudson isn't walking yet but we expect it to be very soon....he's a stubborn little boy, so we might just be anticipating something that actually won't happen for a few more months. I have heard that you get either/or walking or talking....and man is he talking up a storm. Our new favorite word is "puppy" (which is pretty much everything that moves) but he can for sure determine a bark from miles away. He also love pumpkins, due to the fall season, and can spot a round, orange object from our moving vehicle! He sits in the back seat pointing them out as we go down the road and knows as soon as we pull in our driveway he will see one on our front porch. Need-less-to-say, he makes life much more exciting as he narrates in his own little language. Here are a few photos of the past few weeks....
Congrats on Riley Elizabeth! I'm sure you are thrilled. Sounds like Hudson is keeping you busy. Dmitri also LOVES puppies. It's one of the only things that will make him stop crying when his teeth are hurting! He laughs everytime Ana (our lab) gets anywhere near him or looks at him.
